This week at Jr. STEM it was the classic egg drop challenge. Making full use of our lab on the second floor meant the eggs had to survive a 9m drop. Students worked in small teams with limited resources and a strict time frame to construct their containers/parachute.
We had lots of engaging conversations about crumple zones and forces and most groups managed to complete the challenge. Well done to all involved.
