This week a group of 21 Indonesian students from High Schools in Jakarta were welcomed by Hove Park Young Interpreters in years 8 & 9. The visitors are undertaking a week of intensive English language training, as well as making visits to popular places of interest in the south of England, organised by the UK High School Immersion.
Staff and pupils at Hove Park have gained a lot from meeting and working with the Indonesian guests who are enjoying their time here immensely. We are all looking forward to Thursday when the visitors will give a performance of dance and use traditional Indonesian bamboo instruments!
No doubt we will all be sorry to see them leave, but definitely look forward to a future visit.
