After the success of the Valley Challenge Sponsored Walk last year Hove Park decided to go for it again just before the summer holidays.
Mr Hunting convinced the Challenge team - Alex Mack, Katie Brett, Amber Hunt and Vicky Sambrook that we needed to add an overnight camp to the trip and this time he chose the route.
Students and teachers walked 25 miles starting from Cissbury Hill and ending at the White Horse Hotel in Rottingdean. The weather held, the scenery was stunning and our students were amazing.
Year 10 mentors were fantastic, supporting younger students on some tough climbs and organising the camp with us. Overall it was a great experience for everyone.
Now that all the money has been collected we are thrilled to say that we made over £2000 for this years charity 'The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance' chosen in response to the Shoreham Airport disaster. A special thank you needs to go to Robert Almy who managed to raise £250 on his own.
Once again Hove Park students did themselves proud.
