Hove Park is a supportive, caring and exciting place to learn that promotes high standards. We are an 11-18 secondary school based on two campuses in Brighton and Hove. Our school has excellent facilities and a talented, committed and well-qualified staff team. We recognise that everyone is an individual and aim for success and achievement for all. All young people are valued in a community which constantly strives for equality of opportunity and thrives on mutual respect.
As a Specialist Language College we offer a curriculum that extends the horizons of all our students through a strong international dimension. Many students choose to stay with us and join our successful Sixth Form at the end of Year 11. We offer challenge to all our students, from the most able to those who need additional support. We believe that learning is both fun and hard work - and that we can all succeed given encouragement, confidence and support.
GatewayAll HPS parents and carers are encouraged to join our new Gateway site for access to more detailed information about the school and their child’s learning.
Currently the Gateway Parents and Carers page has information such as FAQs about school procedures, an events calendar, letters home and various contact details. Parents and carers will also have access to all the material available on the Gateway to support students’ learning. As we develop the system parents and carers will have access to more specific, personal content such as their child’s timetable, grades and attendance records.
Gateway is different from the website as it is a secure site and not accessible to the general public. If you would like access to the Hove Park Gateway please download the application form, complete and return to the school office.
