Our team of committed teachers strive to make science accessible and relevant to the students through the use of a variety of exciting and innovative activities including extended practical investigations, ICT and data logging equipment, modelling software and stimulating demonstrations.
We have five fully equipped laboratories including two that have recently been developed to encompass the latest in teaching approaches. Each lab has its own computer access to internet and other ICT resources as well television and video.
At Key Stage 4 we have three newly developed laboratories dedicated to the separate sciences of Biology and Chemistry with a Physics lab that has been described by the Association of Science Education as an example for the future. Again each lab has instant access to internet and other ICT resources. We also have three other labs devoted to the A level sciences with all the latest practical resources available.
Our team is supported by experienced and enthusiastic technician staff who work closely with the teaching staff to bring a 21st Century experience of science education.
