Curriculum

The curriculum in Music aims give students a lifelong appreciation of music as a listener, composer and performer, through a range of experiences in singing, playing a wide variety of instruments, composing, evaluating and analysing their own work and others. Students will learn many transferable skills, such as creativity and working as part of a team and will develop commitment and resilience through regular practice in their music lessons. Students will be exposed to many different music genres, to help them gain an understanding of the value and importance of music in society.
